C.F.B. Lybbert served a mission. He had other church callings such as tithing clerk. We would love to learn more about other callings he may have had. Email us the information.
We would like to create a registry that shows his descendants’ service in the church by listing their past and current callings.
This is where we would like to list all C. F. B. Lybbert descendants and their spouses who have served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This was a legacy left to us by C. F. B. Lybbert. We would probably not be members of the Church if it had not been for him accepting the gospel and then serving a mission as a very young man. Please send us a list of your children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents who served a mission. We would like the person’s name, mission field and the month and year the mission began and the month and year it ended.
This section is to share announcements of birth or marriage, as well as notification of deaths in the family. This may include newspaper articles or even copies of the actual birth, marriage or death announcement. Submit these to us and we will post them after the event unless otherwise specified.
We would like to keep our C. F. B. Lybbert genealogy files current in our own genealogy program. Please submit this information via email. It would be wonderful if you could send copies of the certificates for these events.
This information will not be published on the Internet without your permission.
This information is for family use only. It will be available to family members who request a copy of the gedcom file for use in their own genealogy program.
This is not meant to be a bragging place. It is a sharing of achievement and recognition. The family is delighted to share your happiness and accomplishments. Please share. Just remember other family members want to share this information so they too can express their appreciation of you.
The family is widely dispersed and often do not hear of news from other members of the family. Things that could be shared here are times that family members are in the news, have experienced something exciting, devastating, happy or sad.
This is where you can advertise your upcoming family reunions. For example:
¯ C.F.B. Family Reunion
¯ Enoch C. Lybbert Family Reunion
¯ Harden O. Lybbert Family
You can put all of your details about the event or just a link to your own family website for information.
This will include special birthdays like 50th or other special milestone birthdays (i.e. 70th, 80th, 90th, 100th or more)
Silver Anniversaries (25th)
Golden Anniversaries (50th)
50 + Anniversaries
This is another legacy from C. F. B. Lybbert. He served his country in the military. We would like to list all members of the C. F. B. Lybbert family and their spouses who served in the military for their country whatever country it might be. We would like name, branch of service, rank, years served, places stationed, wars served in, military honors, deaths, etc.
Graduations (i.e., high school, college, vocational schools, specialized programs, specialized certificates)
This is a place where we would like to list the clubs and service organizations your ancestors served in. We would also like to know what kinds of service your family members participated or currently participate in. This could include but is not limited to clubs, service organizations, service projects, political offices held, community events involved with, community leadership, musical performances, plays, social gatherings, community disaster relief (local, state, country, etc.) If you have any evidence of community involvement of C. F. B. Lybbert or his children please send us a copy so that we can share this information.
C. F. B. Lybbert left a legacy of the value of work. He was a hard worker. He was a lawman, a Justice of the Peace, blacksmith, ferrier (horseshoer), a cattleman with a registered brand “the Cross O” amongst others. We will spotlight his talents and skills in the future on the Who’s Who page.
· We like to have some statistics on the occupation of you and your family members. This could just be name and occupation.
· We also think it would be interesting to find out the occupations of our ancestors. Many of the Lybbert family are Jacks-of-all-trades. What occupations or jobs did your parents, grandparents or other ancestors have? What talents did they use? During the different economic hardships of the country, work was found in interesting places. Do you know what your ancestors did to survive? We would love statistics, but even better we would love any stories you might have that bring to light their daily work lives. We will include this information on the Who’s Who page.
